England's Wayne Rooney and manager Gareth Southgate embrace at the end of the friendly match between England and the United States.

Callum Wilson scored on his debut and Wayne Rooney earned his 120th and final cap as England beat the United States 3-0 at Wembley.

Bournemouth striker Wilson's first international goal rounded off a comprehensive England performance after first-half goals from Jesse Lingard and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Rooney, England's all-time leading goalscorer, entered the 57th minute of the friendly against the United States, to bid farewell to the "Three Lions" after 120 caps on Thursday at Wembley.

The 33-year-old former Manchester United striker was recalled by the English Federation to honour him, which it did not do when he announced his international retirement in August 2017.
