Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has become Unicef's youngest-ever goodwill ambassador.

The 14-year-old made a powerful speech to mark World Children's Day earlier this week and promised to "speak out for the millions of children and young people whose voices have been silenced for far too long."

According to Unicef, 262 million children are currently out of school, 650 million girls are married before they turn 18 and over 5 million children die before their fifth birthday from preventable causes.
