Don Jazzy made it clear that Reekado Banks is no longer bound under a management contract, as his 5-year contract with the label ended and Reeky decided to take bold steps and become a boss of his own and also sign other artistes.

Reekado Banks was undoubtedly the only artiste alive in Mavin Records after Tiwa Savage. His exit will surely leave Don Jazzy devastated, as there’s no one else to keep the label’s fire burning.

According to Don Jazzy, though Banks is gone, he’s still part of the Mavin Records family. “We’ll forever be a family bro. We’re proud of what you’ve achieved and will still grow into.
Thanks for giving us some time in your amazing journey. I don’t want to say we will miss you because we know your house.
If we need some Reeky fire, na to come burst you for crib. If you like dey toilet we come through. It’s been an incredible 5 years, wishing you nothing but success.”
