Nigerians react as Olamide and Lil-kesh promote ritual killings and internet fraud in new song (Logo Benz)

The YBNL boss, Olamide got together with his former signee, Lil Kesh to drop a new monster hit that fast became a trend considering the lyrical content of the song. The two indigenous acts have been under fire since the song dropped.

After listening to the song and paying deep attention to its lyrical content, Nigerian music lovers have tagged the song the “worst song of the year.” The YBNL boss and YAGI boss blatantly promoted ritual killings, glorified internet fraud, and encouraged armed robbery in the song. None of the banned songs in 2018 so far carries such vulgar lyrics.

The two rappers have been chastised by fans since the release of the song, as social media has been littered with criticisms over the song which is titled “Logo Benz.” One of the comments on the song goes:

“Why is the new Lil Kesh and Olamide song promoting and glorifying ritual killings and blood money? Why must you use terrible lyrics like this: IF MONEY NO ENTER I GO DO BLOOD MONEY. There needs to be a line that you can’t cross when it comes to lyrics in music. This is one of them. Olamide is cancer to the Naija music industry and youths.”
