After the longest partial government shutdown in U.S. history, 6-in-10 Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction, and nearly 70% of them have negative opinions on the state of the nation today, according to the latest WSJ poll.

On the issue of the partial government shutdown, 50% say that President Trump is more to blame, while 37% pointed the finger at Congress.
