On my wall I keep a memory of those days, my old belt. It’s there so I don’t let bad habits creep in over time. It also reminds me every day that people can change. That people can develop new habits no matter their past. ⁣

Just work hard and be patient with yourself. I lost my extra weight in 3 years—and I’m glad it took 3 years! Any quicker and I would not have valued my transformation as much, and it would have been much easier to slip into old habits. ⁣

Implementing lifestyle-changes slow and steadily is my recommendation to anyone wanting to lose weight. ⁣

No matter the goal you’re trying to achieve, give yourself reasonable expectations. Be patient with yourself, love yourself. And over time you will see wonders occur in your life. ⁣⁣
