Following the defeat of Anthony Joshua which saw many Nigerians speaking ill of him, revered Naija music producer, Samklef has reacted to the negative talks by Nigerians, saying they only claim a star when he or she is winning.
On several occasions, the producer has been tagged irrelevant by Nigerian music lovers. He was also said to have a failed career which got faded the minute he signed a deal with Akon’s Konvict Music. Samklef could relate to Anthony Joshua’s case, as he’s positive that such talks will give the boxer the same feeling he got when he was tagged “faded.”
So he took online to address the matter, referring to Nigerians as fake lovers. According to him, Nigerians need to change their mental state of mind and not only praise people when they are up there but during their downtimes too.
Taking to his IG page, the revered producer wrote; “All the Nigerian household need to change their mental state of mind. Don’t only praise people when they are up. Nigerians will only claim you when you are winning. They will never be with you in your downtime. Make I sip some tea. Fake love. Anthony Joshua, you’re still my champion.”
