Save our Club!!!!

Fans gathered to say goodbye to Bury FC after their expulsion from the English Football League.

With just 90 minutes before a deadline for a deal to be completed, C&N Sporting Risk pulled out its bid for the Lancashire club.

Bury were yet to play a game this season, having already been docked 12 points when they were placed into administration by current owner Steve Dale.

He had bought the club for £1 in December.
They are the first club to be expelled since 1992.

Fans gather to mourn their Expulsion

Debbie Jevans CBE, EFL executive chair, said: "Today is undoubtedly one of the darkest days in the League's recent history.”

The expulsion means League One will continue with 23 teams for the rest of the season.

Fans have been gathering outside Gigg Lane, the club's only home since it was founded in 1885, to voice their support.
