“You can never understand a person until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes.”

Being a sneaker head, comfort for me is paramount, over aesthetics and trends. I love how easy I can run without any restraints and setbacks. This is the same attitude I have with progress, life and everything in between; Easiness

I have this mantra I practise daily, which helps me navigate through life daily without the burdens and unnecessary garbages that comes with it. Whenever i am about to find fault with someone, I ask myself the following question: What fault of mine most nearly resembles the one I am about to criticize?”

Like Maya Angelou said “I think we all have empathy. We may not have enough courage to display it.” Courage isn’t just the ability to take might cities, win great battles, defeat giants or enrich ourselves with spoils of war but to love and show empathy even when we don’t have the strength or motivation to.

Like my favorite quote from Theodore Roosevelt, “People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care”.

As we wind down toward Christmas, it is important we show more love, than being right. If we lose the courage to love inorder to be right, then we have lost everything.
